Sexual Harassment 101

This course is a must for all organizations. Here, job applicants will learn what sexual harassment is, and is not, based on Law dating back to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Terms such as Quid Pro Quo, joke-parameters, and work-place behavioral impact are included. Learners are also tasked with properly identifying situational scenarios and determine if what is presented rises to the level of sexual harassment.

Now more than ever the topic of Safety & Health has never been more vital; more serious. This course teaches learners the importance of proper hand-washing; how to prevent slip and falls; how to prevent against Covid-19, E. coli, Hepatitis A, Anaphylaxis, cross contamination.

Here, learners are taught how to infuse their unique personalities into creating over the top guest experiences. Modules include strategies on how to effectively use the 10-step service model to maximize and mine all soft-sell opportunities; proper guest-reading; and utilizing non-robotic language for enhanced menu presentations.

This fundamental course covers entry level grape varietals, region specific tasting profiles, and classic food and wine pairings. Learners are also introduced to where classic spirits are produced and the popular cocktails from around the world which are classic spirit based.

Serving Alcohol Responsibly

This course relays the strict importance of how to serve alcohol responsibly. Learners are instructed on how to recognize the signs of a guest who may have reached their limit; which forms of identification are acceptable for the purpose of purchasing an alcoholic beverage; and the potential consequences born of not following the presented guidelines.

How I'm Employed

At-will employment is a doctrine of American law which defines and governs the employer/employee relationship. Learners will be introduced to the definition of “At-will” employment and gain an understanding of its mutually beneficial importance to both employer and employee. This course also explains restaurant concept partnering and how to properly complete and asses I-9, W-2, and W-4 forms.
